This infernal set from Michel Haillard is said to be inspired by the the passion for hunting and features a variety of items, from home desks to chairs, armchairs and sofas. This is a type of uncommon collection that produces mixed interpretations and stirs a large variety of opinions. Some people may enjoy these designs along with their quality and opulence, others may be shocked by the real tusks and fur which they feature. Because you should know these products were created by using most dire materials from crocodile skin to fangs belonging to wild animals. Complemented with wood, bronze and silver, these items are given the shape which you see below. Every piece is unique and the firm usually takes on a projects by receiving some dead animal’s skin from their customers and turn it into this type of furniture. The 'Kruikantoor', designed by Tim Vinke is a completely portable, lightweight mobile office. The compact unit is a full office suite, constructed of EPS foam, covered with a coating of polyurea hotspray. The office, consisting of 2 chairs, a table, light, electricity connection and storage, can be put together into one entire unit or taken apart to create a complete office environment. Equipped with wheels, 'kruikantoor' allows users to swiftly change work locations." All the pieces fit like puzzle pieces. The 1 legged table, which comes on top of the unit, can be removed and then inserted into the horizontal slit to create a stable desk top surface. There's even room for a coffee maker!

A Cocoon Like Workstation

Sometimes designers create something that is simply too far ahead of its time. That seems too be the case with the Clipper CS-1, created as part of a Herman Miller study into improving office spaces, a cocoon like workstation which actually dates back to the early '90s before most of us even used computers. Created for CAD workers, the opaque side screens are supposed to reduce screen reflections while letting plenty of natural light through, but they also provide much better privacy than an open cubicle.
