Majestic Six Bedroom Albatross Residence

The Albatross Residence was designed by Bayden Goddard Design Architects and is located in Queensland, Australia. Here is a description from the architects: "The residence successfully achieves its own oasis, by capturing beach-front vista and access whilst maintaining a private yet expansive pool and entertaining core. Entry to the residence is via a recycled timber colonnade and gatehouse that grants covered access to both wings of the house. A glazed hallway wraps the central courtyard on both the ground and first floor giving scenic circulation past the main amenities whilst providing aesthetic flow, traveling the timber stair. Privacy is ensured and natural light is made abundant as the open tread stair is back light entirely by opaque glazing. Louvered glazing has been utilized throughout the home to control ventilation by natural breezes. The internal and external palette of finishes of natural timbers and stone cohesively create a tropical, modern and comfortable ambience's. External finishes of recycled timber, natural stone, and copper allow the property to further develop character over time."
The property was bought in 2009 by poker player Bruce Mathieson, who paid no less than $18 million for the crib.

Unique Bedroom Design Featuring a Pirate Ship

Designed by Steve Kuhl, this amazing pirate inspired bedroom accomplishes a dream for pirate enthusiasts of all ages. Ingeniously constructed, the unique bedroom can be accessed by letting go of all fears and becoming a child again: at a superior floor, a hole in the wall takes you sliding down a slide to a comfortable pillow located in the actual bedroom. Once you get up, the eyes immediately rise to meet a wonderful, fairy tale structure: a large pirate ship high on the ceiling. A wooden rope bridge is used to access the ship, where the crow’s nest reigns, alongside a second bed, for guests. The crow’s nest was made using a ten inch hand-hewn timber for extra strength and a rope connects it to the dressing below. The structure of the ship was carefully created: “We used 2×12 ribs to construct the hull of the ship, covering them with layers of 1/2 inch plywood to act as the planking. Our genius faux finisher developed a bomb-proof blend of plaster and epoxy with integrated colouring to simulate an old ship’s hull.” There is another way to access the bedroom: through a door that also hides the magic kingdom of the sea. A jail cell with a custom steel door meets whoever enters the room. It also serves as the base of the rope bridge. This astonishing interior design will help the child grow up in a creative environment, don’t you think?

Luxury Villa of Aveleda

This villa owned Aveleda, in Braga was designed by Manuel Ribeiro. The project was inspired by the design house of ancient Rome in the ancient Roman city “Bracara Augustae” and was established around the square internally. This villa consists of 4 bedrooms (1 master suite and 3 guest rooms) and large bathroom facilities, lifting height and square external comparisons, without loss of visual field. Room suites and cabinets, and a large bathroom. The use of the park as a green variety of natural shades aims. The impression of luxury can be seen from this building.

This building has also designed to attract and catch all its surrounding lights from all different directions making the home full of the warms from the lights. The contemporary home has floor-to-ceiling windows and is a light and airy rendered in stone, stainless steel and blonde wood. The four-bedroom home includes a spa, gym, massage room and an indoor heated saltwater pool. An upstairs glass bridge connects the library mezzanine to executive office and there is a home theater and a sound system.

High Loft Shelf-Wall by Ontwerpduo

Here is minimalist design of a high loft interior designed by Dutch design studio Ontwerpduo in The Hague. The space is four meters high and with that in mind Ontwerpduo designed a huge shelf-wall with adjustable color accents. The living room and bedroom were completely designed in this concept.

This white elegant modern minimalist apartment interior design in Paris is a great interior design project that was created by a French architecture and design studio, Ecole. Called as Flat #1, this 95 sqm modern apartment is facing the Eglise Saint-Gervais on one side and the Hotel de Ville de Paris on the other. The apartment occupies the whole of the the two top floors of an 18th century building. The project comprised a full restructure of the existing space and the conception of some design elements. The first floor, formerly consisting of a long corridor and four rooms has been largely cut open. Thus, the entrance, the living room and the kitchen form one single continuity. The guest space a bedroom and a bathroom has been built on the same floor. A steel staircase links the living room to the owners private space underneath the roof.

Pill Shaped Radio Clock

Small and interesting objects are used to add some color, or to make a boring place a little bit more interesting. This is what Sequoia-studio, a product design agency based in Hong Kong wants to share with anyone. “Gelule” is a bedroom clock radio with a simple and smooth shape. It has a backlit LCD display and an omni-directional speaker. A choice of several colors of cloth for the speaker is proposed, fitting with the color of the LCD display. The adjustment of the volume is done by rotation of the speaker.
