Incredible Office Space Abundant in Light

The PONS HUOT Offices by French architecture could be considered a contemporary equilibrated combination of styles for the headquarters of two companies, Pons and Huot. The space is compartmented into two horizontal planes, with a wooden platform that serves both as ceiling and as desk surface. Housed in a restored 19th century industrial hall, the office is supported by a steel frame covered in self-cleaning glass. A solid oak platform acts both as a working surface for the offices and as the ceiling for meeting rooms recreational room and restrooms located just below. The four lateral sides feature spaces for archives, cloakrooms and the kitchen. The unique organic arrangement serpents along the interior, creating separate office spaces with an intricate pattern. Transparent plexiglas domes delimitate each office space. Ficus panda trees with disguised planters offer the feeling of a luscious open space, filled with light and vegetation.

Twitter moved into a new, much larger office spaces which was previously Bebo’s SF office, is right around the corner from their old one. This simple and clean twitter’s office interior design was designed by the super talented Sara Morishige Williams with a number of Twitter-themed elements like birds and @ symbols decoration added by a few members of the twitter team. A Cocoon Like Workstation

Sometimes designers create something that is simply too far ahead of its time. That seems too be the case with the Clipper CS-1, created as part of a Herman Miller study into improving office spaces, a cocoon like workstation which actually dates back to the early '90s before most of us even used computers. Created for CAD workers, the opaque side screens are supposed to reduce screen reflections while letting plenty of natural light through, but they also provide much better privacy than an open cubicle.

The design studio of Arihiro Miyake is very diverse with contributions from interior design to modern furniture products all with a creative element. Miyake who has an extensive background in space planning and interior decorating developed the Fort acoustic partition system that is made from recycled PET bottle fiber. The "Fort" system has its benefits with sound oriented environments as well as being an adaptable room divider that unlike most can be reconfigured to fit specific needs.
